MATWORK
Available in Aston Clinton and Tring. I love matwork as it requires no equipment but is both thoughtful and challenging. Body Control Pilates took Joseph Pilates' classical repertoire of exercises and broke them down into easier movements to enable everyone to achieve the benefits of Pilates. At The Pilates House we want you to progress quickly and to have a good foundation on which to build. This is why we don't offer pay as you go classes: we want all clients to be in the right class at an appropriate level. We have small classes with a maximum of ten people which ensures our clients receive lots of personal attention and correction.
Available in Aston Clinton only. Take your pilates to a whole new level with the springboards! The springboards are a fabulous piece of apparatus, similar to the Cadillac. They will give you a unique experience of pilates to complement your pilates mat class. The Pilates classic exercises with the benefit of the springs will test your strength and allow you to connect to your deep postural muscles on a whole new level. The springboard will teach you the feeling of using opposition and resistance which will enhance your pilates matwork.

SPRINGBOARD
REFORMER
Available in Aston Clinton only. I also offer reformer classes on the brand new Allegro 2 from California, which adds an even more challenging element to your pilates. The reformer is the most popular piece of Pilates equipment which uses a pulley system with weights to assist but also challenge the body. The springs offer varying degrees of resistance and can challenge even the strongest bodies! The reformer can also help you achieve ease of movement in exercises you may find difficult on the mat. It is an amazing machine and will reform your body and transform the way you think about your mat classes.
